About Steven Rinehart
Steven Rinehart is a registered patent attorney and talk radio host in Utah. He studied English and computer science as an undergraduate at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, before attending the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law where he graduated in 2003. He founded, ran and sold several popular internet websites before becoming an attorney. He hosts a radio talk program, on K-TALK (AM 1640) each Saturday afternoon at 3:00 MST, which can be heard live online at www.k-talk.com. He is an avid pilot (and SCUBA diver) and has logged 300 hours of PIC time in Cessna 182s. More information about his legal practice can be found here. Steve maintains an active intellectual property practice. He has handled hundreds of UDRP domain name disputes as well as patent and trademark cases in federal court. In 2015, Steve handled nearly 15% of all patent litigation cases filed in the entire State of Utah as well as a large number of trademark infringement actions. Steve prepared and filed nearly 2% of all patents filed in 2015 for Utah inventors. Steve is the only attorney ever to be approved as an ICANN-accredited domain name registrar (that registrar being DomainTrain.com) for the purpose of protecting his own clients' domain names.
